One Ceremony Done, Life's Ceremony Continues |
I officially finished my ceremony the first part of October. I gave tobacco and gave thanks for the vision I had received. By completing the first part of my commitment for all people I am reminded that the universe does have order, even if the mathematics of it are best described as "Chaos." Order out of Disorder seems to be one of the rules that work the best when describing what I experienced in my last Hunblecheyapi. To All My Relatives.

Still in Ceremony |
Life is better than death. This is why we came to this earth in the first place. Too live and too learn. Gods exist, because we need them to. In the end they seem to all be the same thing; only with different names and slightly different characters. In the end the whole thing is like a great clockwork. Each Nation's Hoop interacts with every other Nation's Hoop. The whole earth and universe acting as one interactive thought of a great consciousness. In this it is the Dance that is important. Do we dance well with others or do we both try to lead; or follow? The answer is to work together as one. My ceremony ends in about 13 days. I hope I can remember the dreams I've had. :)

Going into Ceremony |
I am currently preparing myself for my second commitment to my Black Horse family to do a ceremony Westerner's call "vision quest." In my preparation for this experience I like to remind myself of what I know of the universe.
The most basic element I have found in all of my research in shamanism is usually described as "the twins." They are equal but opposite forces. Human life exists somewhere in between. Western Religions views this as a battle between "Good" and "Evil;" where as Eastern Religions views it as a "Yin" and "Yang" balance. In all cases throughout the world there seems to be some reference to the duality of consciousness.
Physics seems to confirm some of this through known laws. Attraction of opposite charged forces, and the repulsion of similar energy charges, and all of the influences of sub-atomic partials we know of to date. Opposites, with some element in-between. When trying to reach what is beyond, I must remind myself of what I do know, so I can learn things that I don't know.
